The Arizona Crop Protection Association Scholarships provide financial assistance to undergraduate college and university students who have demonstrated an interest in agriculture and who are either from Arizona or attending an Arizona school. The amounts of the scholarships vary, depending on available funds and the number of applicants.
A few years ago, the AzCPA Board of Directors voted unanimously to create a scholarship program to give back to the community by supporting students pursuing a career in an agriculture-related field. This resulted in the establishment of an AzCPA Scholarship Fund, which gave out its first awards in 2006. The AzCPA has had the honor to provide scholarships each year following. The latest recipients of the AzCPA Scholarships were recognized and presented with checks at the annual Desert Ag Conference held virtually this past May. The AzCPA is honored to support the efforts of these students as they begin the journey of furthering their education.
